- Mashed Potatoes (cooked)300g
- All-purpose Flour200g
- Egg1
- Salt1/4 tsp
- Vegetable Oilfor deep frying
- Granulated Sugar200g
- Water100ml

In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, flour, egg, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead lightly until smooth.

Shape the dough into small rings or balls. Make a hole in the center for rings.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or deep pan over medium heat. Deep-fry the dough pieces in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare the glaze: In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 3-5 minutes until slightly syrupy.

Add the fried kuih keria to the syrup. Toss gently to coat evenly.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly. The glaze will set as it cools.
