- Coconut milk (full fat)350ml
- Water150ml
- Sugar120g
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Pandan paste1.5 tbsp
- Banana leaves8 pieces
- Heavy cream150ml
- Sugar (for topping)1 tsp
- Salt (for topping)1/8 tsp

Prepare banana leaves by washing, drying, and softening them over heat. Cut into suitable sizes.

For the base: Whisk together rice flour, cornstarch, 150ml coconut milk, water, 100g sugar, and 1/4 tsp salt in a pot until smooth.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in pandan paste.

Spoon the pandan mixture into the banana leaf parcels, filling about two-thirds.

For the topping: Mix heavy cream, 1 tbsp sugar, and 1/8 tsp salt in a small bowl.

Gently spoon the cream mixture over the pandan base in each parcel.

Steam the parcels for 15 minutes until the custard is set.
