- Cooked jasmine rice3 cups
- Chicken sausage2, sliced
- Eggs2
- Shallots2, thinly sliced
- Garlic2 cloves, minced
- Dried butterfly pea flowers1 tsp
- Kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)2 tbsp
- Fish sauce1 tsp
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Steep dried butterfly pea flowers in 1/4 cup hot water for 5 minutes. Strain. Mix cooked rice with the blue liquid until colored. Set aside.

Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Sauté shallots and garlic until fragrant.

Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.

Push sausage to the side, pour in beaten eggs, and scramble. Mix with sausage.

Add the blue rice to the wok. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until heated through.

Drizzle kecap manis and fish sauce over the rice. Season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes until everything is well combined.
