Bahan

  • Glutinous rice flour200g
  • Coconut milk200ml
  • Pandan extract1 tsp
  • Sugar50g
  • Salt1/4 tsp
  • Water50ml
  • Banana leaves8-10 pieces

Langkah

  1. 1

Prepare the banana leaves: wash, dry, and lightly wilt them over a flame or hot water to make them pliable. Cut into rectangular pieces.

  2. 2

In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour, sugar, and salt.

  3. 3

Gradually add coconut milk and pandan extract, stirring until a smooth, thick batter forms. Add water if needed to reach desired consistency.

  4. 4

Place a portion of the batter onto a piece of banana leaf. Fold the leaf to create a rectangular parcel, ensuring it's sealed.

  5. 5

Repeat with the remaining batter and banana leaves.

  6. 6

Arrange the parcels in a steamer basket. Steam over medium-high heat for 30-40 minutes, or until the kelupis is cooked through and firm.

  7. 7

    Let cool slightly before serving.
