Bahan
- Glutinous rice flour250g
- Pandan leaves5-6
- Water150ml
- Gula melaka (palm sugar)100g
- Freshly grated coconut150g
- Salt1/4 tsp
Langkah
- 1
Prepare pandan extract: Blend pandan leaves with 100ml water, then strain to get pandan juice. Add more water if needed to reach 150ml.
- 2
Make the dough: In a bowl, combine glutinous rice flour with pandan juice. Mix until a soft, pliable dough forms. Add a little more flour if too sticky, or a drop of water if too dry.
- 3
Prepare the filling: Cut gula melaka into small, bite-sized pieces.
- 4
Assemble the onde-onde: Take a small portion of dough, flatten it, place a piece of gula melaka in the center, and carefully roll it into a smooth ball, ensuring no cracks.
- 5
Boil the onde-onde: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Gently drop the onde-onde balls into the boiling water. They are cooked when they float to the surface.
- 6
Drain and coat: Once they float, scoop them out with a slotted spoon and drain well. Immediately roll them in the freshly grated coconut mixed with a pinch of salt.
