- Chicken breast, cubed500 g
- Potatoes, peeled and cubed200 g
- Coconut milk200 ml
- Malaysian kurma paste4 tbsp
- Onion, chopped1 medium
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Water100 ml
- Fresh cilantro, choppedfor garnish

Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion until softened, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the Malaysian kurma paste and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant.

Add the cubed chicken breast and stir to coat with the paste. Cook for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned.

Add the cubed potatoes and water. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

Pour in the coconut milk. Stir well and simmer gently for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Do not boil.
