Bahan
- Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces500g
- Pre-made sambal paste4 tbsp
- Tamarind paste, diluted in water1 tbsp
- Palm sugar or brown sugar1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Water50 ml
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Sliced red chilies, for garnishoptional
- Spring onions, chopped, for garnishoptional

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the pre-made sambal paste and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the chicken pieces and stir-fry until they are mostly cooked through and coated in the sambal.

Stir in the diluted tamarind paste, sugar, and salt. Add water and bring to a simmer.

Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened slightly.

Garnish with sliced red chilies and chopped spring onions if desired.
