- Glutinous rice flour150g
- Sugar30g
- Milk120ml
- Shredded mozzarella cheese80g
- Butter1 tbsp
- Powdered sugarfor dusting

Prepare the filling: Divide the shredded mozzarella into 4 equal portions. You can optionally mix with a tiny bit of butter for extra richness.

Make the mochi dough: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, and milk. Mix well until smooth.

Microwave the dough: Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for another 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until the dough is thick and sticky. Be careful not to overcook.

Knead the dough: Lightly oil your hands or a clean surface. Transfer the hot dough and knead briefly until smooth.

Assemble: Divide the dough into 4 portions. Flatten each portion, place a portion of cheese filling in the center, and wrap the dough around it, sealing well. Flatten into a disc.
