  • Fresh lettuce leaves1 head
  • Fresh mint leaves1 cup
  • Fresh cilantro1 cup
  • Bean sprouts1 cup
  • Pickled daikon and carrot (đồ chua)1/2 cup
  • Nuoc cham (Vietnamese dipping sauce)for serving

    In a bowl, combine ground pork, shrimp paste, fish sauce, sugar, minced garlic, minced shallots, black pepper, and vegetable oil. Mix well until thoroughly combined. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

    Thread the marinated pork mixture onto bamboo skewers. If the mixture is too sticky, lightly oil your hands.

    Grill the pork skewers over medium-high heat until cooked through and nicely charred, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
