- Cucumber1 medium
- Vietnamese mint (Rau răm)1 bunch
- Thai basil1 bunch
- Peanuts50g
- Fish sauce4 tbsp
- Lime juice3 tbsp
- Sugar2 tbsp
- Garlic2 cloves
- Chili1-2
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Rehydrate the dried beef by soaking in warm water for 30 minutes, then drain and slice thinly.

Peel and julienne the green papaya, carrots, and cucumber.

Finely chop the Vietnamese mint and Thai basil.

Mince the garlic and chili.

Prepare the dressing: Whisk together fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, minced garlic, chili, and 2 tbsp water. Adjust seasoning to taste.
