- Ripe bananas (e.g., Nam Chu or similar sweet variety)4-5
- Coconut milk (full fat)400 ml
- Water200 ml
- Tapioca pearls (small)50 g
- Sugar (rock sugar or granulated)50-75 g
- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)1 tablespoon

Soak tapioca pearls in water for about 30 minutes, then drain.

Peel and slice the bananas into 1/2-inch thick rounds.

In a pot, combine coconut milk, water, sugar, and salt. Heat gently over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Do not boil.

Add the soaked tapioca pearls to the pot. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pearls become translucent.

Add the sliced bananas to the pot. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes until the bananas are tender but not mushy.

Remove from heat. Let it cool slightly before serving.
