- Honey or sugar1 tbsp
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp

Finely mince lemongrass (white part only), garlic, shallots, and red chilies.

In a bowl, combine minced aromatics with fish sauce, soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.

Slice beef thinly against the grain. Add beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Thread beef onto skewers if desired, or prepare to grill directly.
