- Dried red beans200g
- Water1.5 liters
- Sugar150g
- Coconut milk200ml
- Pandan leaves2-3 stalks
- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Toasted sesame seeds1 tablespoon

Rinse the red beans thoroughly. Soak them in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Drain the soaked beans and rinse again. Place the beans in a pot with 1.5 liters of fresh water and pandan leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 45-60 minutes, or until the beans are tender.

Remove the pandan leaves. Add sugar and salt to the pot. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Pour in the coconut milk and stir gently. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Serve the Chè Đậu Đỏ warm or chilled, garnished with toasted sesame seeds.
