Nguyên liệu

  • Ground pork300g
  • Pork ribs (finely chopped)150g
  • Shallots (minced)2 tbsp
  • Garlic (minced)1 tbsp
  • Fish sauce2 tbsp
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Black pepper1/2 tsp
  • Salt1/2 tsp
  • Banana leaves (wilted)4-6 large pieces
  • Vegetable oil1 tbsp

Các bước

  1. 1

In a bowl, combine ground pork, finely chopped pork ribs, minced shallots, minced garlic, fish sauce, sugar, black pepper, salt, and vegetable oil. Mix well until thoroughly combined.

  2. 2

Prepare the banana leaves by wilting them over a low flame or by blanching briefly in hot water to make them pliable. Cut into rectangular pieces large enough to wrap the mixture.

  3. 3

Take about 2-3 tablespoons of the pork mixture and shape it into a small rectangular cake or log. Place the mixture onto a piece of banana leaf.

  4. 4

Wrap the pork mixture tightly in the banana leaf, folding the sides and ends to create a sealed package. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

  5. 5

Arrange the wrapped parcels in a steamer basket, ensuring they do not touch each other. Steam over medium-high heat for 30-40 minutes, or until the pork is fully cooked through.

  6. 6

Remove from steamer and let rest for a few minutes before unwrapping. Serve hot.
