Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Thinly slice potatoes and pork loin. Mince garlic.

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Whisk in heavy cream and milk. Bring to a gentle simmer. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and thyme.

Grease a baking dish. Layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the pork slices. Pour over half of the cream sauce.
