- Jarred roasted red peppers800g, drained
- Canned crushed tomatoes400g
- Garlic2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil2 tbsp
- Dried oregano1 tsp
- Fresh dill2 tbsp, chopped
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Water1/4 cup, if needed

If using jarred peppers, drain them well. If you prefer to quickly roast them, char them under a broiler for 5-10 minutes, then peel and deseed.

Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the drained roasted peppers to the sauce. If the sauce seems too thick, add a little water. Simmer gently for 10-15 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.

Stir in most of the chopped dill. Taste and adjust seasoning.

Serve hot, garnished with the remaining fresh dill.
