Prepare the dough for the buns as per the traditional recipe (steps 1-4 of Traditional Bulgarian Yogurt Buns).

Fry the dough pieces until golden brown and puffed.

Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

While the buns are cooling, prepare the glaze: whisk powdered sugar with rosewater until smooth and pourable. Add more rosewater or sugar to reach desired consistency.
