- Unsalted butter, softened1 cup

- Hazelnuts, toasted and roughly chopped1/2 cup

Prepare the cookie dough exactly as in the Classic Oreshki recipe (Steps 1-4).

Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat your Oreshki maker or waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions.

Grease the Oreshki maker if necessary. Take small portions of dough (about 1 tablespoon each) and press them into the heated molds. Close the lid and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining dough.

While the cookie shells are baking, prepare the filling. In a bowl, combine chocolate-hazelnut spread and toasted, chopped hazelnuts. Mix well.

Once the cookie shells have cooled slightly, carefully fill each half with the chocolate-hazelnut mixture. Press two halves together to form a complete cookie.

Optional: Drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.
