- Ground beef or chicken1 lb
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- Sesame oil2 tbsp
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Pre-shredded carrots2 cups
- Spinach5 oz
- Bean sprouts5 oz
- Eggs4
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste)3 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Cook the protein: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground meat, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper. Cook for another minute.

Quickly prepare vegetables: Briefly sauté or blanch spinach and bean sprouts until just wilted. Sauté shredded carrots until tender-crisp. Season lightly with salt and a tiny bit of sesame oil.

Fry the eggs: Fry eggs sunny-side up or to your preference.

Assemble the bowls: Divide rice into four bowls. Top with the cooked meat and prepared vegetables. Place a fried egg on top of each.
