- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fresh parsley for garnisha few sprigs
Стъпки
- 1
Cut the kashkaval cheese into thick slices, about 1.5-2 cm thick.
- 2
Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour seasoned with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs (optional, for extra crispiness).
- 3
Dredge each cheese slice first in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs (if using). Ensure each slice is evenly coated.
- 4
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. The oil should be hot but not smoking.
- 5
Carefully place the coated cheese slices into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- 6
Remove the fried kashkavalaki from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- 7
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
