- Parsnip1 medium
- Celery root (celeriac)1/4 small
- Egg noodles (medium width)150g
- Fresh dill1/4 cup chopped

Prepare ingredients: Slice the smoked kielbasa into rounds. Peel and dice the carrots, parsnip, and celery root into small, uniform cubes.

Sauté smoked meat and vegetables: In a large pot, lightly brown the sliced kielbasa over medium heat for a few minutes to release its flavor. Add the diced carrots, parsnip, and celery root to the pot and sauté for another 5 minutes until slightly softened.

Simmer the soup: Pour the broth into the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the root vegetables are tender.

Cook noodles: Bring the soup back to a gentle boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente.

Season and serve: Season the soup with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped fresh dill just before serving. Ladle into bowls.
