- Broccoli500g
- Onion1 medium
- Garlic2 cloves
- Potato1 medium
- Vegetable broth750ml
- Heavy cream100ml
- Butter30g
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Wash and chop the broccoli into florets. Peel and dice the onion, garlic, and potato.

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and diced potato to the pot and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the broccoli florets and vegetable broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the broccoli and potato are tender.

Remove the pot from the heat. Carefully blend the soup using an immersion blender until smooth and creamy. Alternatively, transfer the soup in batches to a regular blender.

Return the soup to the pot if using a regular blender. Stir in the heavy cream. Heat gently over low heat, but do not boil.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
