- Bell peppers4 large
- Canned pre-cooked white beans2 cans (approx. 15 oz each), drained and rinsed
- Cooked rice1 cup
- Onions1 large
- Tomato sauce1 cup
- Olive oil2 tablespoons
- Smoked paprika1.5 teaspoons
- Fresh dill2 tablespoons chopped
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Water1/2 cup

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Cut bell peppers in half lengthwise, remove seeds and membranes.

Finely chop the onion and sauté in olive oil until soft. In a bowl, combine the sautéed onion, drained beans, cooked rice, tomato sauce, smoked paprika, chopped dill, salt, and pepper.

Spoon the filling into the pepper halves. Place the filled peppers in a baking dish.

Pour water into the bottom of the baking dish. Cover with foil.

Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until peppers are tender. Remove foil for the last 10 minutes.
