- Chicken broth4 cups

- Dried savory (chubritsa)1 tsp

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Chop the onion and dice the carrots.

Heat olive oil in an oven-safe pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Sauté the onion until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the diced carrots and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

Add the chicken thighs to the pot, searing them lightly on both sides.

Stir in the rice, paprika, and dried savory. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

Cover the pot tightly and transfer to the preheated oven.
