  • Fresh spinach400g
  • Onion1 medium
  • Garlic3 cloves
  • Heavy cream or plain yogurt150ml
  • Olive oil2 tbsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste
  • Water100ml

    Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

    Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.

    Wash the spinach thoroughly and chop it roughly.

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides.

    Add chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

    Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Add the chopped spinach to the skillet. Cook, stirring, until it wilts down, about 3-5 minutes.

    Pour in the cream or yogurt and water. Stir to combine.

    Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
