- White mushrooms300g
- Onion1 medium
- Garlic2 cloves
- Heavy cream200ml
- Butter30g
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Chicken broth100ml
- All-purpose flour1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fresh parsleyfor garnish

Cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

Clean and slice mushrooms. Finely chop onion and garlic.

Heat vegetable oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken pieces on all sides. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 7-10 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Sprinkle flour over the mushroom mixture and stir well, cooking for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

Pour in the heavy cream and bring the sauce to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.

Return the chicken to the skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and tender.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
