- Vegetable oil or melted butter1/2 cup
Steps

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and oil (or melted butter).

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. A few lumps are okay.
