- Ground beef1.5 lbs
- Breadcrumbs3/4 cup
- Egg1 large
- Onion, finely chopped1/2 medium
- Ketchup1/4 cup, plus more for topping
- Mustard1 tbsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp

In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, 1/4 cup ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.

Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meat mixture and shape it into a loaf directly in the skillet.

Spread additional ketchup over the top of the loaf.

Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C). Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
