Ingredients
- Ground beef1 lb
- Cremini mushrooms, finely chopped8 oz
- Gruyère cheese slices4 slices
- Brioche buns4
- Arugula1 cup
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Truffle oil1 tbsp
- Butter2 tbsp
- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

In a bowl, combine ground beef and finely chopped mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper. Gently form into 4 patties.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.

While patties cook, melt 1 tbsp butter in a separate pan. Add minced garlic and sautéed mushrooms. Cook until tender and slightly browned. Stir in truffle oil.

During the last minute of cooking the patties, top each with a slice of Gruyère cheese and cover to melt.

Toast brioche buns with the remaining 1 tbsp butter.

Assemble burgers: place the cheese-topped patty on the bottom bun, top with sautéed truffle mushrooms, a handful of arugula, and the top bun.
