Ingredients
- Chicken breast, cut into cubes1.5 lbs
- Butter3 tbsp
- Onion, finely chopped1 small
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Ginger powder1/2 tsp
- Garam masala1 tsp
- Tomato sauce (plain)24 oz
- Heavy cream1/2 cup
- Sugar1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Water1/4 cup
- Cilantro, fresh, choppedfor garnish

Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken cubes and cook until lightly browned. Remove chicken and set aside.

Add the remaining 2 tbsp of butter to the skillet. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Stir in the garlic powder, ginger powder, and garam masala. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in the tomato sauce and water. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

Return the chicken to the skillet. Stir in the sugar and salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.

Stir in the heavy cream. Heat through for 2-3 minutes, but do not boil.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
