Ingredients
- Salmon fillet1 lb
- Linguine pasta12 oz
- Olive oil4 tbsp
- Garlic, thinly sliced4 cloves
- Lemon, juiced and zested1
- Fresh parsley, chopped1/4 cup
- Red pepper flakes1/4 tsp
- Saltto taste

Cook linguine according to package directions. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

Cut salmon into 1-inch cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon cubes and cook until lightly browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove salmon from skillet and set aside.

Add remaining 2 tbsp olive oil to the skillet. Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing over medium-low heat until garlic is fragrant and lightly golden, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Add the drained linguine to the skillet. Toss well to coat. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to create a light sauce.

Gently fold in the cooked salmon cubes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
