Ingredients
- Cucumbers2 large
- White vinegar1/4 cup
- Water1/4 cup
- Granulated sugar1 tablespoon
- Fresh dill2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper1/4 teaspoon
- Sour cream or plain yogurt (optional)2 tablespoons

Peel cucumbers, slice thinly (about 1/8 inch thick). If using large cucumbers with seeds, you can scoop out the seeds first.

In a bowl, whisk together white vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper until sugar and salt are dissolved.

Add the sliced cucumbers to the dressing. Stir gently to coat.

Stir in the chopped fresh dill. If using, mix in the sour cream or yogurt for a creamier dressing.
