- Mature cheddar cheese150g
- Milk50ml
- Dijon mustard1 tsp
- Whole wheat bread2 slices
- Butterfor spreading
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Chivesfor garnish

Grate the mature cheddar cheese.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the grated cheese, milk, and Dijon mustard.

Microwave on high for 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Be careful not to overheat.
