- Chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats2 lbs
- Honey1/4 cup
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste)1 tbsp
- Garlic, minced3 cloves
- Rice vinegar1 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tsp
- Baking powder (for crispy skin)1 tsp
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Black pepper1/4 tsp
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)1 tsp
- Green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)2 tbsp
- Red chili, thinly sliced (optional garnish)1/2

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken wings thoroughly dry with paper towels.

In a bowl, toss chicken wings with baking powder, salt, and pepper. Spread wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are golden brown and crispy.

While wings bake, prepare the sauce: In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, gochujang, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

Once wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the warm honey garlic sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
