- Butter, melted100g
- Pearl sugar150g

Steps
- 1
Activate yeast in warm milk (around 40°C/105°F) with a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- 2
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center.
- 3
Pour the yeast mixture into the well. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- 4
Gradually add melted butter while mixing until fully incorporated. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 5
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- 6
Gently punch down the dough. Fold in the pearl sugar, being careful not to crush it completely.
- 7
Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. Grease lightly if necessary.
- 8
Portion the dough into waffle-sized balls and place them onto the hot waffle iron. Cook for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and caramelized.
