- Ground beef1/2 lb
- Uncooked white rice1/2 cup
- Onion, finely grated1/4 cup
- Egg1
- Heavy cream1/4 cup
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Butter2 tbsp
- All-purpose flour2 tbsp
- Beef broth2 cups
- Lingonberry jam (optional)for serving

In a bowl, combine ground pork, ground beef, uncooked rice, grated onion, egg, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.

Form into small, 1-inch meatballs.

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides. Remove meatballs and set aside.

Add flour to the skillet and whisk to form a roux. Gradually whisk in beef broth until smooth. Bring to a simmer.

Return the meatballs to the skillet. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and rice is tender.
