A traditional Low Country Boil, also known as Frogmore Stew, featuring shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes simmered in a flavorful broth and served family-style.

Ingredients
- Shrimp2 pounds, large, head-on
- Smoked Sausage1 pound, Andouille or Kielbasa
- Corn on the Cob6 ears, shucked and halved
- New Potatoes2 pounds, small, red or Yukon gold
- Onion1 large, quartered
- Garlic1 head, halved horizontally
- Lemon1, halved
- Seafood Seasoning1/4 cup, Old Bay or similar
- Water4 quarts
- Salt2 tablespoons
- Black Pepper1 teaspoon

In a large stockpot, combine water, salt, seafood seasoning, onion, garlic, and lemon halves. Bring to a rolling boil.

Add potatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes, until tender.

Add sausage and corn to the pot. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until pink and cooked through. Do not overcook.

Drain the pot, reserving some of the flavorful broth. Serve immediately family-style, often on a newspaper-lined table, with the reserved broth for dipping.
