Ingredients
- Instant grits1.5 cups
- Water6 cups
- Butter3 tbsp
- Parmesan cheese, grated0.5 cup
- Large shrimp, peeled and deveined1 lb
- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Chicken broth0.5 cup
- Paprika0.5 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fresh chives, chopped1 tbsp

Prepare instant grits according to package directions using water. Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

While grits cook, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2 minutes per side.

Pour in chicken broth and paprika. Stir to combine and cook for 1 minute.

Season shrimp mixture with salt and pepper.
