Ingredients
- Mussels1.5 kg
- Dry White Wine200 ml
- Garlic2 cloves
- Lemon1
- Olive Oil2 tbsp
- Fresh Parsley1/4 cup, chopped
- Saltto taste
- Black Pepperto taste
- Water100 ml

Scrub and debeard the mussels.

Mince the garlic. Zest and juice half the lemon; chop the parsley.

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add white wine and water, bring to a simmer.

Add mussels, cover, and steam for 5-7 minutes until opened.

Discard unopened mussels. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and parsley.
