- Paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cut into cubes200g
- Gram flour (Besan)1 cup
- Rice flour2 tbsp
- Ginger paste1/2 tsp
- Garlic paste1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder1 tsp
- Cumin powder1/2 tsp
- Garam masala1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder1/4 tsp
- Saltto taste

In a bowl, prepare the batter by mixing gram flour, rice flour, ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.

Gradually add water while whisking to form a smooth, thick batter, similar to pancake batter consistency. It should be thick enough to coat the paneer cubes without dripping off easily.

Dip each paneer cube into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.

Carefully slide the batter-coated paneer cubes into the hot oil.

Fry the paneer pakoras until they are golden brown and crisp on all sides. This typically takes about 4-5 minutes.
