  • Milk2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract1 teaspoon
  • Granulated sugar (for coating)2 tablespoons
  • Ground cinnamon (for coating)1 tablespoon

Steps

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

    In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

    In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar until smooth.

    Beat in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.

    Stir in the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.

    In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon for the coating.

    Drop rounded tablespoons of dough into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, coating evenly.

    Place coated dough balls about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
