
Vietnamese Iced Coffee (Ca Phe Sua Da)

A classic and invigorating Vietnamese iced coffee made with dark-roast coffee, sweetened condensed milk, and ice. The coffee is brewed using a traditional phin filter, resulting in a strong, rich brew that is then mixed with condensed milk and served over ice.

Ingredients
- Vietnamese dark roast coffee grounds2-3 tablespoons
- Sweetened condensed milk2-3 tablespoons
- Hot water4-6 ounces
- Ice cubes1 cup
- Vietnamese coffee filter (phin)1
Steps

Place the Vietnamese coffee filter (phin) over a glass. Add 2-3 tablespoons of coffee grounds to the filter.

Gently press down the coffee grounds with the tamper.

Pour about 2 ounces of hot water into the filter to bloom the coffee. Wait for 30 seconds.

Fill the filter with the remaining hot water (4-6 ounces) and cover with the lid. Let the coffee drip slowly into the glass.

While the coffee is dripping, add 2-3 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk to the bottom of a serving glass.

Once the coffee has finished dripping, stir it well with the condensed milk in the brewing glass.

Fill a separate tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the sweetened coffee mixture over the ice.
