  • Sweetened condensed milk1/2 cup
  • Evaporated milk1/2 cup
  • Sugar1/4 cup

Steps

    Boil 4 cups of water. Add Thai black tea leaves, star anise, and cardamom pods to a heatproof bowl or pot.

    Pour the boiling water over the tea and spices. Let steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on desired strength.

    Strain the tea mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the solids.

    Stir in sugar until dissolved. Let the tea cool to room temperature.

    To serve, fill glasses with ice. Pour the sweetened tea about two-thirds full.
