Prepare the mlinci: Break the store-bought mlinci into bite-sized pieces. Briefly soak them in hot water for 2-3 minutes until slightly pliable, then drain well.
- 2
Cook the meat: Season pork chops or chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the meat until golden brown and cooked through. Remove meat from skillet and set aside. Keep the drippings in the skillet.
- 3
Make the gravy: Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the meat drippings. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle flour over the onions and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually whisk in the broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.

Combine and serve: Add the drained mlinci to the gravy and stir to coat. Cook for another minute to allow the mlinci to absorb some of the sauce. Slice the cooked meat and serve it alongside or mixed into the mlinci. Garnish with fresh parsley.
