- Feta cheese400g
- Ricotta cheese200g
- Fresh spinach, wilted and squeezed dry200g
- Eggs2
- Nutmeg, grated1/4 tsp
- Butter, melted100g
- Vegetable oil50ml
- Saltto taste

Finely chop the wilted and squeezed spinach. In a bowl, combine crumbled feta, ricotta, chopped spinach, eggs, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Prepare the phyllo dough: lightly brush each sheet with a mixture of melted butter and vegetable oil. Layer 4-5 sheets together, then spread a layer of the spinach-cheese mixture.

Roll the layered phyllo dough tightly into a long log. Coil the log into a spiral and place it in a greased baking dish.

Repeat the process with remaining phyllo sheets and filling, adding each spiral next to the previous one.

Brush the top of the entire burek with the remaining butter and oil mixture.

Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
