- Egg1 large
- Granulated sugar50 g
- Vegetable oil30 ml
- Milk30 ml
- Baking powder1 tsp
- Salt1 pinch
- Vegetable oil for frying1 L
- Powdered sugar for dusting30 g

In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the egg, vegetable oil, and milk. Mix until a cohesive dough forms.

Knead briefly on a floured surface until smooth.

Roll out the dough thinly (about 2 mm).

Cut into strips and twist as per traditional kroštule.

Heat oil for frying to 170-180°C (340-350°F).

Fry until golden brown and crispy.

Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar once cooled.
