- All-purpose flour400g
- Butter, softened200g
- Powdered sugar80g
- Egg yolk1
- Milk50ml
- Baking powder1 tsp
- Vanilla sugar1 sachet
- Strawberry jam150g
- Granulated sugarfor dusting
- Red food coloringa few drops
- Salt1 pinch

Beat softened butter with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.

Mix in egg yolk and milk.

Combine flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet ingredients to form a dough.

Roll the dough into small balls.

Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 12-15 minutes until pale golden.

Once cooled, hollow out the center of each cookie half.

Mix jam with a little red food coloring and the cookie crumbs.

Fill the hollows and sandwich the cookie halves together.
