- Orange zest1 tsp
- Lemon zest1/2 tsp
- Salt1/4 tsp
- Slivered almonds, for garnish (optional)2 tbsp

Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg, orange zest, and lemon zest until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, almond flour, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined to form a soft dough.

Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Roll small portions of dough into logs and then into small, twisted shapes.

Optionally, press a few slivered almonds onto the top of each cookie.
