Sastojci
- Sauerkraut (shredded)1 kg
- Ground pork or mixed meat500 g
- Short-grain rice100 g
- Onion, finely chopped1 medium
- Smoked sausage, sliced150 g
- Paprika (sweet)1 tbsp
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Water or brothas needed

Prepare the filling: Sauté onion in oil until soft. Combine ground meat, uncooked rice, sautéed onion, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Assemble: Mix the filling with about half of the shredded sauerkraut. In a pot, layer the remaining sauerkraut and sliced smoked sausage.

Form rolls (optional, or layer as a casserole): You can form smaller rolls by hand or simply layer the meat mixture and sauerkraut mixture in the pot.

Cook: Add water or broth to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until rice is cooked and flavors are combined.

Serve: Serve hot, directly from the pot or in bowls.
