- Onions1 large
- Sweet paprika2 tbsp
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Canned diced tomatoes400g
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Water100ml
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Chivesfor garnish

Slice the onion thinly.

In a pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the sweet paprika and garlic powder. Cook for 1 minute.

Add the canned diced tomatoes (undrained) and water. Bring to a simmer.

Add the pre-cut catfish fillets, salt, and pepper. Stir gently.

Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the catfish is cooked through. Stir occasionally.
